Below is a list of some of the top restaurants in New York City: Per Se: Located on Columbus Circle, Per Se has a unique wood-and-glass design with views of Columbus Circle. It is located on the fourth floor of the galleria of shops in the Time Warner complex, near Central Park. The food is excellent, particularly the delicious rack of baby lamb. Other unique food items offered include mini ice-cream cones filled with salmon tartare, dollop of osetra caviar, and Jurassic salt which is 30 million years old. Le Bernardin: Located at 155 West, Le Bernardin offers wonderful French food. Diners can choose such dishes as sea urchin, fluke seviche, wild striped bass in bouillabaisse broth, whole red snapper baked in rosemary-and-thyme crus, and more. It is a great dining experience for those who have a few hundred dollars to spend for two people.

Restaurant Daniel: Located at 60 East 65th Street, Restaurant Daniel features contemporary seasonal French cuisine. The restaurant has neoclassical architecture with charming modern furnishings. It also offers an elegant bar and lounge. The food is incredible, particularly the Paupiette of sea bass in a crisp potato shell and the braised short ribs.

Mercer Kitchen: Located at 99 Prince Street, Mercer Kitchen is a trendy restaurant in SoHo. It features a subterranean power-bar, lounge, and restaurant. The dining area stretches to the early century brick walls and then out under the sidewalk vault allowing diners to view foot traffic walking across the roof through glass bubbles in the floor-ceiling. Opia: At Renaissance Hotel 57 on 130 E. 57th St., 2nd fl., Opia's 4,000 square foot interior space is incredible. It has 6 arched windows and 11 foot high ceilings. Opia is a great place to dine with comfortable couch areas. The restaurant offers a scrumptious menu, sushi menu, and lounge.
